Real time marketing is marketing strategy that focused on current, relevant trends and immediate feedback from customer. “It is the trend that is happening at any level and the brand joins the conversation to push it forward.” It happens when we debate on Facebook whether the dress color is blue or gold and when we re-tweet a content to win free tickets to Bali.
Dunk in the Dark
Oreo’s “Dunk in the Dark” is a classic example of real-time marketing. In year 2013 during the third quarter of Super Bowl, the power went out in the Superdome for 34 mins. Oreo seized the opportunity and tweeted this:

It was a huge success for Oreo, the message was retweeted 10,000 times in an hour, and became one of the memorable ad moments of the game.
Snuggle

Feb 14 was valentine's day. Snuggle launch their #BearYourHeart Campaign, encourge everyone to express their emotions.
Below are the things Snuggle did to promote this event:
1. New Yorkers are able to visit a snuggle bear den pop-up on Fed 11 to write down love notes for the others and take selfies with the snuggle digital bilboard.

Snuggle created free Love Emoji for fans to download on their cellphone, which is another way to increase audience awareness of the brand.
3. encourage audience to purchase Snuggle product and give out their email adress for a chance to win a snuggle bear.
